Overview
Backyard Boxes Raised Garden Beds with Corrugated Steel are made with the Backyard Boxes classic cedar frame around galvanized steel panels. Our full-dimension cedar lumber frame creates an incredibly strong and rot resistant structure. In addition, the 3.5in top cap makes gardening easier with a comfortable place to sit or lean on. Corrugated, galvanized steel panels are inserted into the cedar frame.

Specifications
Unless otherwise specified, dimensions listed are the outside dimensions of the garden box. Our raised boxes come in 2 different heights: 16in and 23in. We make them in 2ft, 3ft, and 4ft widths and offer lengths up to 8 feet.
The corner legs of our raised garden boxes are doubled-up 2-inch cedar and complete the top and bottom of the frame with 2-inch cedar. We fit each side with corrugated, galvanized steel panels embedded into each frame on all 4 sides to resist outward soil pressure while minimizing necessary hardware.
The Raised Garden Box has an open bottom and can go directly on the ground, gravel, or garden fabric.

Set-up and Assembly
Backyard Boxes Raised Garden Boxes ship with 4-6 assembled sides. Customers can easily attach all four sides using the provided bolts and a 7/16 socket wrench (not provided).
A fabric liner is included to help ensure that soil doesn’t leach around the edges of the metal panels.
Once assembled, place your Raised Garden Box on a flat, level surface and fill with soil.
Options
Our Raised Garden Boxes come without treatment or stain. Left untreated, cedar will remain strong and hold up against the elements. To keep your garden bed looking great as long as possible, we recommend applying a non-toxic stain or clear sealant to the outside of the box.
We carry non-toxic sealant and stain in a wide variety of colors. If you select a clear sealant or color stain option when purchasing your Raised Garden Box, we will apply the product to the exterior of your Garden Box before shipping or delivery.
You can also purchase quarts or gallons of clear sealant or color stain from us and apply it to your Garden Box. We carry Vermont Natural Coatings clear sealants and stains.
